This is an exciting request. I’ll let Caitlin speak for herself:
Dear Potential Donor,
My name is Caitlin King and I currently go to Brannel School in St. Stephens, Cornwall. I am currently looking for donations to help me take part in Camps International. This is a new partnership for Brannel School and is the first time they will be taking part in the Camp.
Camps International started running expeditions in 2002 and over 22,000 students have travelled with them from around the world. These students have collectively completed over 80,000 weeks of volunteering work. Some of the projects completed include building classrooms, community centres, combating deforestation and protecting wildlife.
I would like to take part in the Camps International Trip to Tanzania in the summer of 2019. I am hoping to be able to positively affect the lives of those living in the area and gain an amazing experience at the same time. On completion of my volunteering I will also be able to apply for a Certificate of Personal Effectiveness Level 3. To do this I need to raise at least £4000. I am hoping to do this with a variety of fund raising events such as a bake sale and fundraising page online.
I am also hoping to gain sponsorship from local businesses. I will be having t-shirts made for the trip which will include the logo/name of each business that I am able to get sponsorship from.
Thank you for taking the time to read my letter, if you are able to donate/sponsor me can you please contact my mother Stacey Roberts on email@example.com for a sponsorship form. Any donations will be greatly appreciated.
I have provided the details to the Camps International Website should you wish to find out more information about this amazing project.
