Connect is a registered charity.

We aim to help people living with Long term conditions, and their carers to reconnect with life again and have set up long term support services such as befriending and support groups.

List of Connect Support Groups in the St Austell area:

1: Diabetes Support Group.

Meets the 1st and 3rd Monday of the month.
Time: 10 am – 11 am
Venue: Bridge 49

2. Long term Condition Support Group.
(Join us for a cuppa,share experiences and get some tips about managing health conditions such as COPD, arthritis, epilepsy, high blood pressure)

Meets the 1st and 3rd Monday of the month.
Time: 11:30 am – 12:30pm

3. Mental Health Support Group.
(Reaching out to people with mental health issues such as anxiety and depression)

Starting 25th February 2016.

Meets the 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month
Time: 6pm – 7:30pm
Venue: Asda Meeting Room
(Around the right hand side of the store. Colleagues and visitors entrance)

4. Conversations Group

Do you have communication difficulty following a stroke or brain injury? You are not alone. Connect Conversation Groups are led by people who have direct experience of living with stroke and aphasia.

Meets every Tuesday
Time: 10:30 – 12:00
