The Queen’s Head Hotel is a comfortable 14th century hotel and pub situated opposite the parish church in the centre of town, and very close to railway and bus stations. Two ‘guest’ real ales are often available. This is a down-to-earth locals’ pub with the usual juke box, pool table and games machine, where nevertheless all are welcome (although children are allowed in only for meals).

Sharp’s Doom Bar
Wonderful little pub with a very relaxed atmosphere. Had a disco on the weekend with a DJ and dance floor but also 2 pool tables and plenty of space around the bar for general socialising. The staff behind the bar were very friendly and efficient and had a smile for everybody, great range of drinks.
